Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork training covers the following core topics:
Types of Scar Tissue — Understanding the different forms scar tissue can take and its physical, emotional, and energetic impact on the body.
Fascia Fundamentals — What fascia is, why it matters, and why working from the fascial level is so effective.
Perceiving the Scar's Impact — Learning to feel and assess a scar's effects on the body; movement, adhesions, and emotional wellbeing.
Client Intake & Guidance — How to conduct a thorough intake, approach the client with sensitivity, and guide them confidently through the process.
Scar tissue affects millions—yet many therapists lack the specialised skills to treat it effectively. Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork Practitioner Course equips you with gentle, evidence-informed techniques that deliver real results without force or deep pressure.
Unlike generic massage training, this course focuses exclusively on integrating scar tissue into the body. We explore how it impacts the body, why it holds tension and emotion, and how to safely and effectively reintegrate it into the body's fascial web. It will complement your foundation training and significantly improve outcomes for your clients.
Clients report relief, increased connection, feeling whole, increased range of movement, improved balance and stability
